ISLAND NOTES
On a misty morning the day unfolds itself at Can Sastre. While black cats frolic around the palmtree covered courtyard garden and made-with-love acaï is served, there is time to breath. It’s as if the old soul of the place radiates it’s calmness upon you, slowing down your pace naturally.
The afternoon drenched with laziness is spend at Aguamadera, a place situated in an ocean of trees. The aesthetically pleasing finca takes centre stage, hugged around by an impressive vegetable garden. Live music that beautifully combines with the wood-fire cuisine, is gently cheering on the sun which is slowly hiding behind valley outlines. With all the senses covered, it feels like lovingly dissolving into something bigger.
With sunset’s pink afterglow in the rear mirror, it’s off to Cala Gracioneta. A tiny tiny picturesque bay, only accessible trough the name-like chiringuito. Where water is crystal-clear and fish swim up to you like long lost friends. And when darkness sets in and a million tiny stars make their first appearance, it can either be a peaceful ending of a soulful day or a perfect beginning of an adventurous night, you decide.
