THE POWER OF LOVE BY GUCCI CRUISE ’25

Gucci took over London with a star-studded show held at the Tate Modern. In it’s underground concrete Turbine Hall, creative director Sabato de Sarno showed his first cruise collection. Attended by music icon Dua Lipa, Kate Moss and daughter Lila, and none other than Blondie’s Debbie Harry, whose hit “Heart of Glass” formed part of the soundtrack.

A mystical atmosphere filled the venue as Tirzah’s beautiful “Devotion” floated out of the speakers when the show got started. Models meandered down a runway decorated with hundreds of ferns and overhanging plants, as a contrast to the grey, industrial show space. A tomboy chic style defined the collection, combining the masculine and feminine. Fragile pieces had a rough edge, and traditional British textures like tartan and tailoring were given a loving Gucci twist.
