MODERN MOD TRIBUTE AT CELINE SS25

CELINE has unveiled its women’s Summer 2025 collection at the close of Paris Fashion Week. Presented as a show video, the house’s latest collection may be Hedi Slimane’s most feminine to date. Directed by Slimane himself, the show, titled “UN ÉTÉ FRANÇAIS”, draws inspiration from the ultra-feminine world of the 1960s.

Shot at the Château de Compiègne in France, CELINE’s runway show video is set to “Femme Fatale” by The Velvet Underground and Nico, a song that inspired Hedi Slimane while reading La Chamade by Françoise Sagan. The collection, filled with bows on satin blouses, headbands, and shift dresses, features a standout appearance by Lila Moss with striking CELINE BEAUTÉ winged eyeliner. Slimane’s latest muse embraces youthful femininity with timeless elegance. As a tribute to the late musician Françoise Hardy, the collection captures the carefree joie de vivre she epitomized.
