KATE MOSS & CHLOË SEVIGNY STAR IN SAINT LAURENT’S FALL 25 PRE- COLLECTION

Saint Laurent brings Kate Moss and Chloë Sevigny together in a sun-drenched, heat-soaked ode to feminine power and nostalgic rebellion.

In June, Saint Laurent captured attention with Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Shirtless. Thigh-high leather boots. Pants so tight they became a second skin. It was bold, it was sexy, and it set the tone for autumn. But just when it seemed untouchable, the French house raised the stakes.

On July 28, Saint Laurent revealed its AW25 women’s campaign, featuring two icons we never knew we needed in the same frame. Kate Moss and Chloë Sevigny, photographed by Mert Alas in the shimmering heat of Los Angeles.

The campaign, titled Velvet Heat, begins with Moss alone in a convertible. Faux fur, sunglasses, a Loulou bag beside her. Then comes the water, the beach, the quiet intensity. Sevigny joins her in a private pool at one of those sprawling LA mansions. They hold onto each other like old souls reunited.

In other scenes, Sevigny floats alone. Moss perches on the edge of a bed, lost in her thoughts. Later, they appear wrapped in a massive coat on a deserted beach. Everything feels cinematic and unfiltered.

Frankie Rayder also makes an appearance. But this story belongs to Kate and Chloë. Two women with very different energies, coming together for the first time in a campaign that feels both raw and refined.

Although they shared a runway during Miu Miu’s Spring Summer 1996 show, this is the first time they’ve been captured in dialogue. Back then, Sevigny walked behind Moss. Now, they move together.

A short film accompanies the images. Directed by Alas, it is dreamlike and intimate. Grainy footage flickers across the screen as Moss recites a poem written by the photographer.

I’ve run through cities that forgot my name
And left fingerprints in places you’ll never find
I laugh too loud in quiet rooms
And I leave before the music stops
Every fucking time

Velvet Heat is not just a campaign. It is a mood. A love letter to freedom, to female magnetism, to the women who never stopped evolving.
